Pray that people would respond to God’s call to lead and serve in the church.
We will pray through 1 Peter 4:10-11 today. Read it aloud. Then use the reflection and prayer questions below to guide your prayers through this passage.
1 Peter 4:10–11
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (ESV)

v10 | As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:
- Reflect: This verse teaches that every believer has been given a spiritual gift. Am I faithfully stewarding the gift(s) God has entrusted to me? Am I using them to serve others and build up the body of Christ?
- Pray: If you are unsure of your spiritual gift(s), ask God to reveal how He has equipped you. If you do know how He has gifted you, ask Him for wisdom and faithfulness to steward those gifts well in service to others.

- Reflect: This verse identifies some gifts as "speaking" gifts and others as "serving" gifts, though it does not elevate one type over the other.
- Pray: Ask God to raise up men and women from Enon who will teach and speak His Word. Ask Him to raise up men and women who will faithfully serve in every area of ministry.

- Pray: Praise God for equipping the church with leaders and servants. Pray that He would be glorified in and through Enon's obedience to lead and serve.
