Serve Out in North Jefferson and Beyond
God has given Enon a vision for our church. Our prayer is that each member will find where they fit in helping fulfill God’s vision for our church. We ask the question, “Where is God taking us?” and God has faithfully given us the answer. We believe that God is calling Enon to be a catalyst for spiritual awakening in North Jefferson County and beyond.
North Jefferson County
Many of our members have answered the call to “Serve Out” here in North Jefferson County and the surrounding areas. The ministries that they are involved in are as varied as the people, but all of them are making an impact, either as part of a group or individually, as they have embraced the opportunities that God has given them.

God gifts His children with the skills and talents needed for them to fulfill the purpose and plan He has set for them, but many times we allow obstacles to hinder us from fulfilling that plan. What obstacle is it that hinders you from Serving Out? Is it time, money, fear, worry? Many of our members have obstacles they encountered when they set out to serve, but God has been faithful to provide a path of obedience.
The first step is the always the most difficult one to take, and our prayer for you is that you will not allow the obstacles you encounter to stop you from fulfilling the purpose God has for you. Our “Serve Out” volunteers have testified about the joys, benefits, and “God moments” they received from seeing their opportunities, overcoming their obstacles, and following God’s call to “Serve Out” in our community.
Enon has a long history of “Serving Out” both to North Jefferson County and Beyond. It is our goal to give you the knowledge you need to take advantage of the many opportunities that we offer throughout the year that will allow you to take the gospel to the nations.
As you look at the opportunities, keep in mind that individual involvement can range from working with kids in Orphanages, serving at VBS, passing out flyers, hosting block parties, laying blocks, dental, medical, optical opportunities, to teaching and preaching in churches and other gatherings.
With every opportunity that comes our way there is often an obstacle that has to be overcome. This rule can certainly come into play as we seek ways to “Serve Out”, especially when we are looking through a Global lens. The goal is that we do not let obstacles put us on the sidelines when it comes to doing what we know God has told us to do. If He is in it, He will see it through to the end. It may not look like we thought it would and usually it looks a whole lot better.

There is another obstacle that often comes into play, AGE! Statements like, “I’m too old or God can’t use me, are common. And they are often accompanied with “I don’t have TIME or “I’m Not Spiritual” enough or “What Can I Do?”. Often the real issue is just fear, we are afraid to take that first step or maybe afraid that God is going to call you to do something that is not in your plans. Our pastor often testifies, “I have never once regretted following the Lord in obedience.”
As you are obedient to God’s call, you will be amazed at all the ways that He can use you! Enon members often testify of how God overcame their obstacles and used their obedience to make an impact in Global missions.
