Know God More Intimately and Invigorate Your Prayer Life

Prayer is the most dynamic discipline in the life of a believer. Yet it may be the most misunderstood and the least taught. This six-session study shows believers that following Jesus’ Model Prayer will lead them to fall more in love with God and grow in their desire to engage in conversation with Him. Impactful, inspiring video sessions introduced by Pastor Steve Gaines include interview segments with proven leaders: J. D. Greear, Robby Gallaty, Ronnie Floyd, Kelly Minter, Ken Hemphill, Lisa Harper, Ed Litton, H. B. Charles, Michael Kelley, and more.

In this study you’ll see the significance of starting your prayers by acknowledging God as Father. You’ll learn what it means for His name to be recognized as holy. You’ll discover what you’re asking God to do when you pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done. You’ll see what Jesus meant when He told us to ask God for daily bread. You’ll understand the importance of asking for forgiveness in your prayers. The study ends by emphasizing the need to ask God to deliver us from the evil one.

Children’s Equip Opportunities

New Christian Class for Kids - Begins in September

Next Class Starts Wednesday, September 18 | 6:00-7:30pm | Children’s Building | 6 Weeks

Register your child online here: https://enonbc.tpsdb.com/OnlineReg/153

Taught by Laura Quinn, this class is great if your child has recently become a Christian or has been asking questions about becoming a Christian. In fact, even if your child became a Christian some time ago, they will benefit tremendously. This class is ideal for 3rd-5th graders, but younger children may be accepted at the discretion of the teacher.

In this class, your child will learn more about what it means to be a Christian. They will learn the meanings of words that Christians use, write their testimony, and make a memory book to help them remember their decision to follow Christ as they grow older. They will also learn about baptism, the Lord’s Supper, the church, praying, how to study the Bible, and telling others about Jesus.

This class will meet for six consecutive weeks on Wednesday nights in our Children’s Building, from 6:00-7:30pm.

You may register your child for the class online by clicking here, or you may call the church office at 205-647-9614.

Space is limited to 11 children, so sign up today!
