Main Prayer Point
Pray that people would respond to God’s call to lead and serve in the church.
We will pray through Matthew 9:37-38 today. Read it aloud. Then use the reflection and prayer questions below to guide your prayers through this passage.

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (ESV)

- Reflect: God chooses to accomplish His purposes in the world through people, yet few are willing to step into the work.
- Pray: Ask God to make Enon a church filled with laborers. Pray that He would protect us from consumerism and self-centeredness. Ask Him to raise up leaders and servants from our church—serving faithfully from our neighbors to the nations.
- Reflect: Do I see myself as a laborer in God’s harvest, or do I assume that work is meant for someone else?
- Pray: Ask God to give you a heart that shares His mission in the world.
