Day 10

Main Prayer Point

Pray that we would develop deep spiritual friendships in the church (Life Groups, ministries, etc).

An author once wrote that most people "lead lives of quiet desperation."1 With that in mind, we will pray through Galatians 6:2 today. Read it aloud. Then use the reflection and prayer prompts below to guide your prayer time.
Galatians 6:2
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. (ESV)
  • Reflect: Think of someone at Enon who is weighed down by a difficult trial or circumstance.
  • Pray: Ask God to strengthen this person during this difficult season. Ask God to show you a way you can help them bear their burden (an encouraging word, a meal, a financial gift, an unhurried conversation, etc).

  • Reflect: Who in the church helps bear your burdens? If you struggle to think of someone, give consideration as to why.
  • Pray: Ask God to help you embrace the gift of burden-bearing friendship. Ask God to help Enon grow in connection and sacrificial care for one another.
